Star clusters from a balcony
7 of 25 captured, 2 gathering light, 16 ahead; 15 h 20 min of light over 9 nights in total.
Clusters are the quick wins of the challenge. The stars are bright, light pollution does not bother them, and one or two nights of thirty-second frames are enough to reach the goal. That makes clusters the natural filler for moonlit evenings or the first hours of the night while the street lights are still on.
The difficulty lies elsewhere: not clipping the brightest stars, keeping the colour of red giants and not losing the faint stars in dense cores. Below are all the clusters of the challenge with their status and gathered hours.
